The following rules have been established to assure safe and sanitary operation of pool facilities. Parents are requested to caution their children to observe these rules.  Pool Management and lifeguards oversee the safe and sanitary operation of the pool and grounds and general conduct of members. Infractions of these rules may result in cancellation of membership or in suspension of pool privileges at the discretion of the Board of Governors.

General Rules

  • The pool may be closed at any time by pool management for maintenance operations, health conditions, weather conditions or lack of personnel.


  • All members and guests, including children using the Swim Club facilities do so at their own risk.  Management will not be responsible for any accidents in connection with such use.


  • Members and/or guests will be responsible for the cost of any damages caused by their negligence.


  • Neither TCSC nor its employees are responsible for the loss of any personal property in or about the Swim Club.


  • No diapers or swim pants are permitted in the main pool.  Any children not completely toilet-trained are not permitted in the main pool at any time.


  • No objects including tennis balls may be thrown into or around the pool at anytime.


  • Games such as corn hole, washers and other adult activity must be moved away from the pool deck.  Pool Management has the authority to ask members to move or stop activity if it is interfering with other members.


  • Audible personal music devices are permitted only at volume levels that will not disturb others.


  • Glass or glass containers are not allowed on the Swim Club property at any time.


  • Smoking is not permitted around the pool deck at any time.  Members and guests must use the designated smoking area behind the pavilion.


  • Water guns and water balloons are not permitted to be used on club grounds.


  • Rental of the premises to any non-member groups or organization is prohibited.


  • Pets are prohibited on club property.


  • All notices must approved by the pool management before being posted.


  • These rules may be revised or additional rules established at any time by the Board of Trustees. 


  • Normal swimming hours are from 12:00PM to 8:45PM Monday thru Friday and 12:00PM to 9:30 on Saturdays.


  • The pool opens full-time on the first day after Delran Public Schools close for the summer recess.


  • Each member is required to enter and exit the pool area via the gatehouse.


  • Each active member is listed in the computer database at the gatehouse. Upon arriving at the swim club, all members are required to stop at the gatehouse and check in using their membership card provided by the club.


  • Missing card fees will be $1 per incident in June, $2 per incident in July, and $3 per incident in August. 


  • Pictures shall be on record for all carded members. 


  • Childcare providers (Nannies) must be 16 years or older and they are required to have a sponsoring family. The sponsoring family is required to be an active member of the club. The sponsoring family is responsible for the $100 annual nanny fee.


  • Persons under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs will be denied admission to the Swim Club.


  • No child under the age of 11 will be permitted to enter the Swim Club unless accompanied by one of his/her parents or a responsible adult.


  • Special Permits to use the facility outside of normal operating hours will be permitted by the board on a case-by-case basis and may or may not require a fee. Permitted special uses must always have a lifeguard on duty during the permitted use. 


  • Five Guest limit per family per day.


  • Guests will be admitted only when accompanied by an adult member of Tenby Chase Swim Club. Both guests and their adult member must register at the gatehouse. Adult members are responsible for their guests. When the adult member leaves the Club, the guest must also leave.


  • Guest Fees are paid at the gatehouse. 


  • Daily Guest Fees are $10.00. Daily Guest Fees are waived for Non-Swimming Senior Citizens and children under 5 years old. 


  • Youth Guests will be tested for swim ability and issued a swim band as part of the guest fee. All bands must be returned. 


  • Guest privileges shall not be issued to the same individual, regardless of sponsor, more than five times per summer season.


  • All guests are expected to follow all of the Club Rules. The club Manager and/or Lifeguard staff may revoke a guest membership at any time for violations of these rules. 


Pavilion Party Rentals

  • Pavilion may be reserved for use in two 4 hour shifts. 12pm - 4pm, and 4:30pm - 8:30pm
  • Cost for each 4 hour rental period is $200. Both shifts may be reserved for $400. 
  • Reservations are confirmed when paid in full. Dates may be temporarily held for 48 hours with a $25, refund deposit. 
  • The fee for non-member party guests is $6. This fee includes admission to the pool for the day, band testing and issuance of a band. All bands must be returned at the end of the party.
  • All Guests must check-in and be banded before hte party and checked-out after the party. 


Turf Party Rental 

  • Turf Party Rentals include 1.5 hours of turf time and 3 hours of 10x20 tent time. A tent will be reserved during the turf time plus an additional 1.5 hours thereafter. 
  • Reservations may only be made by paid members. 
  • All turf reservations shall be scheduled and logged only after payment is received. 
  • All turf rentals shall include an activity attendant, or other TCSC staff member, which will be scheudled after reservation is finalized. The activity attendant will provide writst bands to party members and restrict "party crashers" and can also be used to organize and ref games. 
  • Maximum of 2 non-continuous rentals per day. One hour open time for all members must be included between reservations. (e.g. 12-3pm, and 4-7pm)
  • Reservation holders must be briefed by the attendant on turf usage rules (i.e. no food or drink on Turf). Violations will result in forfeiture of reserved time balance without refund. 
  • Fees: Small party includes 10 wrist bands for guests, $250. Large party inlcudes 20 wrist bands for guests, $400. 
  • Parents/guardians of turf party guests may attend with regular guest fee. 
  • All guests must check-in and be banded before the party and checked-out after the party. 
  • A water ice is included for each banded party guest. 


Safety & Sanitation

  • All members and guests must be clean before entering the pools.


  • All injuries, however slight, must be reported to the pool management.


  • No one is permitted in any pool unless a lifeguard is on duty.


  • No running, ball throwing, pushing, wrestling, dunking, rough playing, etc. are permitted in the pools or on the pool decks.


  • Diving will be allowed only off of the diving board. Only one person will be allowed on the diving board or in the diving well at a time, unless the lifeguard closes the diving board for well swimming. 


  • Those who want to use the slide should form a line at the bottom of the slide steps. Only one person is to be on the slide stairs at a time.


  • No one is permitted to be on the lane lines at any time.


  • Expectorating and blowing of the nose in all pools is prohibited.


  • Inflatiable Floating Devices are only permitted in the main pool on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm until 8:30pm.


  • All Children must be fully potty trained. Absolutely no swim diapers or diapers in the main pool. 


  • Approved swim assist devices: are permitted in the main pool with a parent, guardian, or babysitter within reachable distance or arm's lenght. Guardians/babysitters must be at least 16 years old.
